- Subscriber Data: Email address and signup source, where you subscribe to email updates or unlock content with your email.
- Purchase and Request Data: Email address, company requested, payment status, and information needed to fulfil a paid investigation. Payment card details are handled by our payment processor and are not stored by Mashinii.
- Usage Data: Technical logs, IP address, device information, pages visited, and interaction events used to operate, secure, and understand the website.
2. LEGAL BASIS FOR PROCESSING
We process personal data based on the following legal grounds:
- Contract: To fulfil a paid investigation or another service you request.
- Consent: To send you email updates you have signed up for. You can withdraw consent at any time via the unsubscribe link in any email or by contacting us.

We use your data to operate and secure Mashinii; deliver The Evidence Brief when requested; process and fulfil paid investigations; send transactional messages; respond to corrections and inquiries; understand site usage; and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell your personal data.

We share data only as needed with service providers that support hosting, database operations, analytics, email delivery, security, research workflows, and payment processing. Some providers may be located outside the UK/EEA, including in the United States. Where applicable, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.
Business Transfers: If Mashini Investments Ltd. is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of some or all of its assets, your personal data (including account and subscriber data) may be transferred to the acquiring or successor entity as part of that transaction.
