About Mashinii

Company conduct should be easier to see.

Mashinii is an independent research publication and searchable evidence database. We investigate how companies affect workers, consumers, communities and the planet—then show readers the sources.

Why it exists

Corporate claims are abundant. Accountability is scattered.

The evidence needed to understand a company is often spread across court records, regulator websites, corporate disclosures and years of reporting. It is technically public, but rarely easy to compare.

Mashinii organises that evidence into readable investigations, comparisons and company profiles. The aim is not to tell you what to think. It is to make the record legible enough for you to decide.

Editorial principles

01

Evidence over reputation

We look for court filings, regulatory actions, official disclosures, credible investigations and specialist NGO research. Readers should be able to inspect the basis for a claim.

02

Trade-offs stay visible

A company can perform well in one area and badly in another. We publish 11 dimensions because a single flattering score can conceal the decisions that matter.

03

Companies cannot buy a better result

Mashinii does not accept payment from a company in exchange for coverage, removal of evidence or a higher score. Reader support funds the work.

How the research works

Technology helps us search. Evidence remains the test.

Mashinii uses automated systems and AI models to search, structure and assess large volumes of public information. That makes research across thousands of companies possible—but model output alone is never a source.

Published findings are intended to connect to identifiable public evidence. Scores are analytical opinions, not statements of fact, and can change when new evidence is found or an error is corrected.

Corrections and right of reply

The record should be challengeable.

If you believe a page contains a factual error, missing context or a source that no longer supports the claim, tell us. We review specific, evidenced corrections and update material when warranted.

Companies and subjects of our work may submit a response. A response does not guarantee a score change, but relevant evidence should be part of the public record.

Ownership and funding

Independent, founder-led and built in London.

Mashinii is published by Mashini Investments Ltd. It was founded by Suleiman Mashini after work spanning quantitative finance, trading infrastructure and strategy consulting.

The publication is funded by its founders and readers. Paid support and fresh-investigation requests help cover data, research and infrastructure; they do not purchase a predetermined conclusion.
